Aristacom International Inc, Alameda, California has added three new investors and raised more cash from its existing backers in its second round financing – but it declines to reveal how much was raised. The new investors are Institutional Venture Partners, Menlo Park; St Paul Venture Capital Inc, St Paul; and Ameritech Development Corp, Chicago. Existing backers Sevin, Rosen, Bayless, of Dallas, and Accel Partners, of San Francisco increased their investments in the company. Founded in 1988, Aristacom provides mainframe and desktop software to integrate telephony and computing resources for applications such as telemarketing. It has also just teamed with Rockwell International Corp to provide software to link Rockwell’s Automatic Call Distribution systems to applications running on IBM 370-type mainframes using its new Scil*Galaxy Switch Computer Interface Link.
