Features three-inch touch screen display, 3.2 megapixel camera and QWERTY keyboard
Verizon Wireless and Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) have unveiled Samsung Reality, which features a 3-inch WQVGA (240 x 400) full touch screen display, full horizontal slide-out Qwerty keyboard, customisable widgets, and multiple messaging options.
Available in two colour options, Piano Black and City Red, the new phone will be available on April 22, 2010. Samsung Reality supports TouchWiz interface, which offers specially designed widgets that allow customers to customise and personalise their phones and the Communities widget that allows customers to update social networking sites, post pictures and upload videos to YouTube and other web sites, the companies said.
The new phone also features one-touch widgets, which provide instant access to web sites on the phone’s HTML web browser. It has in-built 3.2 megapixel camera with night shot mode; photo editing features, including Dynamic Canvas, which supports flash animations in pictures.
Reality also features Bluetooth technology and corporate email support for Microsoft Office Exchange and microSD card slot with support for up to 16GB. The VZ Navigator enables users to receive audible turn-by-turn directions to more than 15 million points of interest and share the directions with others.
In addition, Samsung Reality features visual voice mail; media centre that provides access to downloadable games, ringtones, wallpapers and location-based services; and personal organiser and tools with calendar, calculator with currency converter, notepad, alarm clock, world clock and stop watch, Verizon said.
