UK graphics firm VideoLogic Group Plc has been named as an additional defendant in the lawsuit brought by 3Dfx Interactive Inc against Sega Ltd and NEC Corp (CI No 3,238). 3Dfx alleges that NEC and Videologic induced Sega to break its agreement with 3Dfx, causing Sega to switch to NEC and Kings Langley, Hertfordshire-based VideoLogic’s 3D graphics technology, and is asking for damages amounting to $105m.
