Vodata Ltd, the value-added network services arm of Vodafone Group Plc, is to launch a facsimile broadcast information service this spring: it will enable users to distribute information to any number of facsimile destinations worldwide in one transmission – information loaded onto a personal computer or facsimile machine can be sent to a Fax Broadcast mailbox by dialling a unique access number, and then automatically distributed either immediately or at a pre-set time.
