Supporting V.34 28.8Kbps modem transmission and 14.4Kbps in facsimile mode, it is designed for use in the Type II or Type III PC Card slots in Apple’s PowerBook 500 series. It also incorporates MNP 10EC Enhanced Cellular technology, enabling it to be used over cellular networks when it is connected to a cellular telephone. It is out now at $270.
