Contract includes sector leading compliance management
BT has signed a contract extension with biopharmaceutical company Bristol-Myers Squibb to manage its global network services through 2017.
Under the contract, BT will help Bristol-Myers Squibb derive greater value from its network services through increased standardisation and innovation and the contract extension covers outsourced networked services, including wide area and local area networks, as well as remote access, voice and telephony infrastructure.
In addition, the contract also includes sector leading compliance management designed to the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry, and network security services.
BT Global Services Global Commerce president Bas Burger said working with Bristol-Myers Squibb isn’t just about managing technology; it’s about assuring highly reliable services that enable collaboration and communication.

Bristol-Myers Squibb Network and Hosting Services vice president Rick Yborra added said the partnership Bristol-Myers Squibb have built with BT is based on its confidence in BT’s global operational capabilities and their ability to flex with Bristol-Myers Squibb’s changing needs.
