In recognition of BT’s investment into flexible working and the importance the company assigns to job stability and work-life balance of its employees
Communications solutions and services provider BT has been awarded the Flexible Company award in Spain by the communications agency Comunicación de Valor Añadido (CVA).
The award was in recognition of BT’s investment into flexible working and the importance the company assigns to job stability and work-life balance of its employees. BT was chosen from amongst 1,800 companies vying for the award this year.
Instituted ten years back, the award is chosen by CVA’s jury consisting of representatives from the sponsoring companies, media, and business schools Esade and Instituto de Empresa.
Also, BT stood out for initiatives such as Volunteering programme, managed through the BT Foundation to facilitate employee participation in projects where technology contributes to the inclusion of people from underprivileged backgrounds.
BT head of human resources in Iberia and Latin America Emilio Cortés said for BT to be recognised as Flexible Company is a confirmation of the good work the company has done in the areas of work equality, flexibility and work-life balance of our employees.
