Morph Labs, a platform as a service provider for web applications, has launched a web application support program designed for iPhone developers.
According to the company, its program is expected to bring together resources for iPhone web application developers and allow them to build and deploy applications to the Morph AppSpace service, a fully managed environment for running web applications.
Supporting Ruby on Rails, Java web applications and Grails applications, Morph AppSpace is a cloud-based platform as a service that allows developers to concentrate on building applications and rely on Morph Labs for the deployment and management of the application environment.
Morph AppSpace is claimed to manage all of the configuration, management and the enterprise quality services necessary to run the web application in the cloud.
David Abramowski, CEO of Morph Labs, said: Our service is a perfect match for developers looking to quickly take advantage of the iPhone ecosystem. The developer can build an application and then immediately deploy it to a Morph AppSpace without the delay or hassles of setting up a web application environment. Within minutes the web application is operational and ready to submit to Apple’s App Store.
