Company added more than 500 new customers in Q$ 2010
IT infrastructure performance company Riverbed Technology has reported revenue of $165.4m for the fourth quarter of 2010, an increase of 47% compared to $112.9m for the same quarter of 2009.
The company posted an operating income of $20.6m for the fourth quarter, compared to an operating income of $0.56m for the same period last year.
For the quarter ended December 31 2010, the company posted net income of $12.6m, or $0.08 per share, compared to a net income of $0.93m, or $0.01 per share in the same quarter a year ago.
For the fiscal year 2010, the company’s total revenue increased to $551.9m compared to $394.1m for the previous fiscal year and gross profit increased to $419.4m from $295.2m.
The company’s operating increased to $56.2m compared to $10.3m for the previous fiscal year.
Net income and EPS for the fiscal 2010 were $34.2m and $0.22, compared to net income and EPS of $7.1m and $0.05 in the previous fiscal year.
Riverbed chairman and CEO Jerry Kennelly said for the full year, revenue increased 40% while their non-GAAP operating profit and net income both grew more than 90% compared to the prior year.
"We added more than 500 new customers in the fourth quarter, and we now count many of the largest companies in the world as Riverbed customers," Kennelly said.
