Telecommunications equipment and network services provider ZTE is will continue to source application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) from Qualcomm and Broadcom to enhance its telecommunications services.
The American global telecommunication firm Qualcomm will provide device processor components as ZTE drives LTE adoption in 2012 and beyond and it will also continue to provide chipsets for ZTE wireless devices.
Semiconductor company in the wireless and broadband communication business Broadcom will provide networking processor services for ZTE Bearer network, Ethernet and XDSL products.
The collaborative relationships demonstrate ZTE’s commitment to bring improved components, latest technologies and services to customers, said the Chinese company.
ZTE senior vice-president Ye Weimin said ZTE is strengthening relationships with telecommunications companies to demonstrate its capabilities, customisation and value.
