Software AG has announced that it will be moving its entire cloud portfolio onto the Amazon Web Services cloud over the coming year.
The company has also announced that it will launch the,"Transformation to the Cloud" initiative in order to help companies choose the best cloud adoption strategy.
Software AG already has some services running on AWS, but it now also plans to deploy webMethods Intergration Cloud on AWS and the rest of its portfolio.

The move to AWS is being implemented due to Software AG seeing the move as a good strategic move due to the size of AWS and its brand awareness among large scale enterprises.
Also taken into consideration were the financial benefits of the AWS IaaS services which offer a lower cost of certification.
