True Internet, a provider of ISP from Thailand, and Zscaler, a provider in cloud delivered security, have unveiled their partnership to offer Zscaler’s web security services to True Internet’s enterprise, small and medium business (SMBs), and retail users.
This service will protect users from malicious content and threats arising from Internet usage as most threat users today are exposed to are byproducts of Web access, according to the companies.
Using a global cloud infrastructure, Zscaler protects users irrespective of where they work from, easily enforcing security and policies while providing real-time reporting.
With no hardware or software to install, Zscaler’s cloud based offering requires no hardware or software to install and True Internet to roll out security services to their users.
Zscaler sales director of South East Asia Stephanie Boo said they now see maximum damage arising out of attacks that are launched by compromising legitimate websites, search engine optimisation, exploiting browser vulnerabilities, and by persistent threats that work in stealth mode.
"Most recent high profile attacks have used at least one of these techniques to propagate. Our security technologies prevent these types of threats from reaching end user machines," Boo said.
