Firms partner to improve security and speed of HR documents.
Adobe has partnered with Workday to integrate its e-signature technology into the back-office software provider’s Human Capital Management (HCM) solution.
Adobe EchoSign helps HR departments go paperless, claiming its e-signature capability means staff save time, reduce errors and improve compliance.
In fact, the firm said its own HR departments close 64% of job offers within 24 hours, and 15% inside an hour, thanks to the system, which allows candidates to sign on the dotted line without printing and posting the documents.
Meanwhile, Adobe is set to deploy various Workday HCM functions within its HR department next year.
Kevin Lynch, senior VP of document services at Adobe, said: "The integration of Adobe EchoSign will give Workday customers the competitive advantage to present prospects with professional and secure digital documents, built seamlessly into HR systems, to deliver results quickly and efficiently."
Workday’s senior VP of products, Mike Frandsen, added: "We are excited to take this first step in our relationship with Adobe and look forward to continued collaboration with them, as both a partner and customer."
The news comes after Microsoft integrated DocuSign’s e-signature applications into Office 365 in February.
