Expects revenue to range between $1bn and $1.05bn for Q1 2011
Design and desktop publishing software provider Adobe Systems has reported revenue of $1.01bn in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2010, up 33.4% compared to $757.3m in the same period last year.
The company posted an operating income of $287m, an increase of 86.4% compared to $154m in the same period last year.
For the fourth quarter ended 3 December 2010, the company reported a net income of $269m, compared to net loss of $32.1m reported in the same period last year.
For full fiscal year 2010, the company reported revenue of $3.8bn, compared to $3.1bn in the same period last year.
Operating income for the fiscal 2010 was $993m compared to $691m, and net income was $775m compared to $387m in fiscal 2009.
Adobe president and CEO Shantanu Narayen said the company posted first billion dollar quarter and record annual revenue in 2010, driven by outstanding performance across all of their major businesses.
"Adobe is transforming how the world is creating, measuring and delivering digital experiences and we are one of the most diversified software companies in the world and are entering 2011 with strong momentum," Narayen said.
For the first quarter of fiscal 2011, the company expects revenue to range between $1bn and $1.05bn and operating margin to range between 28% and 29.5%.
