User virtualisation technology provider AppSense and application migrations firm App-DNA have signed a strategic partnership to provide a comprehensive, user-centric desktop transformation program to the organisations.
The companies jointly accelerates the migration of Windows-based applications onto new platforms such as Windows7, virtual desktop computing and remote desktop services.
With the new approach many user-related and application-related project barriers can be eliminated and also IT managers can migrate the critical applications to new desktops faster, with less risk, while delivering a consistent end-user experience across all platforms.
AppSense and App-DNA jointly provide organisations with the capabilities to analyse, plan, manage and deliver.

AppSense strategic alliances vice-president David Roussain said virtually every corporate and enterprise organisation is in some phase of planning or deploying new desktop infrastructure. In every case, this includes various combinations of Windows 7, virtual desktops and remote desktop services.
