Plan to integrate ATG eCommerce apps with SPEED’s fulfillment, customer care, order management and internet marketing offerings
ATG, a provider of cross channel commerce offerings, and SPEED FC, a provider of single source, eCommerce services, have entered into an alliance to provide online sellers with a new direct-to-customer offering.
Under the alliance, the companies will fully integrate ATG eCommerce applications with SPEED FC fulfillment, customer care, order management, and internet marketing offerings which would be a complete outsourced offering designed to provide a flexible e-commerce and fulfillment option with lower capital expenditures for merchants.
The companies claim that the new offering is suitable for companies that sell online and require an integrated, outsourced e-commerce, order management, fulfillment and customer care offering. The alliance delivers an offering that includes SaaS (software-as a-service) e-commerce, plus e-commerce services.
Bill Zujewski, vice president of product marketing at ATG, said: “With today’s unique and highly sophisticated technology, and the operational challenges of cross channel commerce, many online merchants are looking for an integrated end-to-end solution that handles front to back end system functions, while still incorporating unique and advanced commerce technology.
“With this new alliance, companies can economically obtain a best-in-class solution, customised to their unique brand and service requirements. It is a solution that enables organisations to not only leverage advanced personalisation, merchandising, search and marketing features to drive sales and increase loyalty, but also guarantees the efficient, timely delivery of goods to their customers.”
