BigMachines, a provider of on-demand sales configuration and proposal software, has launched a new version of quoting and proposal platform BigMachines 10.
The company claims that the new BigMachines 10 will further expand its sales automation offering by enabling customers to sell more and faster.
Built on the company’s SaaS platform, the new version enables sales teams, VARs and channel partners to generate quotes and proposals, manage pricing, generate contracts and submit and manage orders, BigMachines said.
The company said that the new offering comes with enhanced eCommerce Engine that allows companies to use the same system for internal quoting and proposal development as they do for selling direct to customers on their website. A new shopping cart feature, available to both internal and external users, simplifies orders and makes checkout a one-click transaction.
According to BigMachines, the new version of quoting and proposal offering features customisable user interface using drag-and-drop components; simplified approval workflows; shopping cart that allows users to add and remove items during eCommerce, modify quantities in the cart and add cart totals; and one-click checkout to complete B2B transactions.
In addition, the new version features new document engine that enables marketing and sales to create content libraries that can be reused throughout a document or across multiple documents, such as proposals and contracts.
