The use personal devices at work poses greater threat to corporate security, but only 11% of companies currently use Mobile Device Management (MDM) software to ensure compliance with corporate security policies, according to a new report.
According to a report by B2B International, despite growing BYOD, 38% of companies have some kind of restriction on smartphone including complete ban on employee devices accessing to certain network.
About 19% of those surveyed found have a complete ban on the use of mobile devices for work activities.
The survey found a dangerously trend, that despite the growing threat several companies have not applied any restrictions despite 34% of those surveyed think that the use of personal devices presents a threat for business and 55% frequently think about how to reduce the risk.
