The new games will be compatible with the Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.
Digital and social games maker Gameloft and Microsoft have announced that 15 new games are coming to Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 in the coming year.
The new games will be compatible with the new operating systems including the Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.
According to the company, the new games are expected to take advantage of the Windows platform’s multiple hardware configurations, while offering new features like cross-platform play between Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 devices.
Gameloft Americas Publishing VP said Baudouin Corman that the Microsoft’s platforms provide a great environment for engaging games.
"Gameloft will bring its full support, taking advantage of the platforms’ specific features," Corman said.
Microsoft Developer and Platform Evangelism corporate vice president Steve Guggenheimer said, "With top gaming companies such as Gameloft investing in the platform, it is evident that there is no better time for game developers and gamers alike to choose Windows."
The 15 new titles to be released for the Windows OS include Asphalt 8: Airborne, Dungeon Hunter 4, Despicable Me: Minion Rush, Total Conquest, Six Guns and UNO & Friends by the end of 2013, followed by new Gameloft titles scheduled for launch in 2014.
