Infor customers can now enable social commerce by leveraging Facebook for social sharing and their website for transactions
Business application software provider Infor has collaborated with social commerce firm 8thBridge to deliver new customised applications for the social media marketplace.
The company has introduced two new modules for CRM which include Social Commerce Advisor and Insight for Social Commerce.
With the new applications, Infor customers can now enable social commerce by leveraging Facebook for social sharing and their website for transactions.
The two new social marketing modules claimed to leverage the power of the Infor Epiphany CRM Suite and 8thBridge Graphite technology to give marketers access to predictive and emotive social data not readily available via other means.
In addition, the modules will offer companies with the technology to personalise interactions and determine the right messages to deliver directly to a consumer during a social interaction based on intelligence gathered from their social profile.
Infor CRM senior vice president and general manager George Wright said: "Through our partnership with 8thBridge, we can now offer our customers a comprehensive solution that will deliver real-time data for retargeting and sales, allowing them to leverage more digital channels for personalization, and providing instant recommendations that will help drive higher cross-sell and upsell acceptance rates."
