Apple has launched its iOS 7.1 version, the major update to its latest iOS 7 operating system, which fixes 41 major security and stability issues reported by users since its launch in September last year.
Dealing with crashing bug with the company’s latest iPhone 5S model, the latest update boosts speed on the iPhone 4 in addition to adding new accessibility options and comes with user interface (UI) tweaks.
The new update adds new features including the CarPlay integrated iPhone voice-control system for cars, which will allow drivers to use iOS hands free while driving.
In addition, the update also improves the accuracy of touch ID fingerprint recognition; fixes an occasional Home screen crash bug; while offering iPhone 4 users with improved responsiveness and performance.
Users can now manually control when Siri listens by holding down the Home button while they speak and release it when they’re done, while automatically enabling HDR on iPhone 5S.
The update is compatible with iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina display, iPad mini, iPad (3rd and 4th generations), iPad 2, and iPad touch (5th generation).
