Joyent, a provider of smart computing offerings, has partnered with Codesion, a provider of enterprise-grade subversion, git and CVS hosting, to provide end-to-end automation of the application development and deployment process.
The company said that Codesion’s new push-button publishing feature makes it faster and easier for its customers to collaborate, manage and deploy their apps directly to the Joyent cloud.
According to Joyent, pairing Codeision with it’s smart computing architectures will allow them to deliver an unmatched ease in developing and deploying the next generation of social and gaming applications on the web.
The new offering will provide a purpose-built cloud platform and tool-set that enables customers to harness the power of the cloud and improve the development and deployment process, the company said.
In addition, the offering which will meet the needs of developers and allow them to focus on development, deployment and delivery of applications, improving efficiency and leveraging the true value of the cloud environment.
Codesion chief executive officer Guy Marion said that by partnering with Joyent, customers can now begin coding with source control in five minutes, provision the Joyent Smart Machine, then one-click publish their application to the Joyent cloud.
