MSPs can deliver on-demand services such as Security Event Monitoring, Global Threat Detection, Inside Threat Profiling, and Logging-as-a-Service
netForensics has released nFX One for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), which is designed to address challenges faced by MSPs who want go-to-market with on-demand security services, yet need to minimise the associated capital and operational expenditures.
With nFX One, MSPs can deliver on-demand services such as Security Event Monitoring, Global Threat Detection, Inside Threat Profiling, and Logging-as-a-Service with low capital investment and can obtain end-to-end visibility across customer networks, quickly detecting botnets, malware, hackers and suspicious internal activity
In addition, MSPs can minimise the operational costs by supporting more customers with fewer resources and can expand their offerings with better security and compliance services, as their teams, infrastructure and customers are ready.
nFX One is comprised of four modules that act as an integrated platform to give service providers and their customers a full range of security and compliance options.
The four modules of nFX One include: SP Monitor; SP Detect; SP Inspect; and SP Comply.
SP Monitor is for real-time event monitoring, visualisation, reporting and alerting whereas SP Detect is for threat detection, rules correlation and incident remediation system.
SP Inspect is used for local threat detection, dynamic watch lists and vulnerability scoring and SP Comply is for guidance and reporting on compliance-related security issues.
Global Threat Detection gives MSPs clear visibility into inbound threats and zero-day attacks whereas Local Threat Detection provides real-time insight into suspicious internal activity such as botnets, port scanning, virus propagation, or SPAMS originators.
Multi-Tenant Vulnerability Scoring reveals which threats pose a true threat and the potential business impact of specific events across specific customer networks and the Hybrid Cloud Model with Cinxi SIEM/Logging Appliances on customer’s premise enable Logging-as-a-Service and helps customers address compliance requirements for local log storage. .
netForensics CEO Dale Cline said netForensics understand that MSPs have a serious responsibility to prevent threats against their customer’s brand and valuable assets.
"But previously, the investment required to implement effective security-as-a service was so significant that entry into the market was cost prohibitive. With our new suite of solutions, MSPs can take a simple, cost-effective approach to protecting their customers while building their security business," said Cline.
