PineApp, a provider of email and network security services, has appointed Thinstore as a strategic reseller, as it continues its expansion in to the UK market.
Thinstore is a provider of thin client and server-based computing technologies. The deal means Thinstore will sell PineApp’s range of products aimed at SMEs, such as its Mail-Secure and SeCure-SoHo offerings. Thinstore will also offer support for the services.
Mail-Secure aims to protect email systems from targeted threats such as mail-bombing, DoES and backscatter as well as offering protection against non-targeted threats such as Trojans, spam and viruses.
SeCure-SoHo is aimed at small enterprises and offers network security, offering email and web protection as well as a SMTP mail server.
Steve Cornish, PinApp’s UK sales and marketing director, said: Thinstore is ideally positioned to take PineApp products to its wide customer base and deliver a high level of technical guidance and support. Thinstore will play an important roll in our drive to increase market share in the UK and by offering a strong range with good reseller margins and support, PineApp is demonstrating its commitment to the channel and the growing SME market.
Paul Robinson, managing director for Thinstore, said: SMEs are struggling to deliver advanced IT solutions to keep pace with growing business demands, while facing increased risks from malicious attacks and more sophisticated spam. PineApp has addressed these challenges by offering an advanced range of simple, affordable and practical appliances that provide all-in-one protection as well as full email and web management to increase productivity and deliver greater user flexibility.
