Q1 Labs, a provider of security information and event management products, has integrated its QRadar network security management offering with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator software, the McAfee security and compliance management system, as part of the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance partner program.
By combining the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) software asset-based system security information with QRadar’s ability to monitor user, application, data center and network-based security information, customers gain visibility while leveraging QRadar’s inherent operational efficiencies in network security management, said Q1 Labs.
Tom Turner, vice president of marketing and channel sales at Q1 Labs, said: This new integration work between McAfee and Q1 Labs combines endpoint security with network security and provides customers with a broader view of what’s happening in their enterprise.
Joe Gottlieb, vice president of corporate strategy and technology alliances at McAfee, said: By implementing products that are compatible with McAfee solutions – like Q1 Labs’s QRadar security information and event management offering – our customers experience faster deployment times and reduced costs.
Earlier in December 2008, Q1 Labs has unveiled VFlow Collector for QRadar, designed specifically for use by IT professionals to help them oversee and secure virtual environments.
