France-based IT consulting services provider Sogeti, a subsidiary of Capgemini, has acquired UK-based risk-management, testing, and security services vendor Vizuri for an undisclosed sum to expand its presence in the UK’s testing services market.
Vizuri offers consulting, managed services, training and resourcing services in quality assurance, test, and security consultancy. With a staff of 90 persons, Vizuri caters to over 50 clients.
Luc-François Salvador, chairman of the Sogeti Group has said that the acquisition of Vizuri would reinforce the European leadership of Sogeti in IT local services by consolidating its activities in one of the major markets.
Sogeti provides Local IT Professional Services and employs over 20,000 people delivering services in high tech consulting, application services / systems Integration and infrastructure services. Sogeti owns, develops and distributes test methods TMAP (Test Management Approach) and TPI (Test Process Improvement).
Richard Terry, managing director of Sogeti UK, said: “We believe that through the acquisition of Vizuri, we will immediately be able to provide a broader, deeper range of services to all of our clients.
