Team Cymru’s malware analysis and aggregation capability incorporates analyses powered by Sunbelt’s CWSandbox, an automated malware behavior analysis tool, and Threat Track, Sunbelt’s malware data feeds, said Sunbelt Software.
Jeff Vosburg, COO of Team Cymru, said: We constantly strive to improve our insight into malware threats in order to provide the most focused, accurate information to the information security community at large. Sunbelt has the capability and reputation in the market to help us achieve this goal and we are delighted to be working with a leader in its field.
Chad Loeven, vice-president of business development of Sunbelt Software, said: Malware is becoming far more sophisticated with multi-pronged attacks and new techniques being unleashed on consumers and enterprises daily. Collectively in the security community we face a common challenge of keeping abreast of new threats and being able to effectively analyze and counteract them.
