Webroot said it protects individuals and corporate networks from threats such as viruses, hackers, data exposure, spam, spyware, utilising cloud computing power in its security solutions.
Webroot EMEA channel director Ian Moyse said Webroot aims to stand out from other vendors by providing the best possible Cloud services to end users.
Moyse added, "The Code of practice enables professional Cloud Service Providers such as Webroot, to demonstrate with clarity their ethics, practices and processes through an independently recognised and credible body in order to build trust by association with prospective customers."
CIF chairman Andy Burton said, "Ian and the team at Webroot have been championing Cloud computing for a long time which is why we are delighted that Webroot is joining CIF. Evangelists such as Webroot play can play a valuable role in the future of CIF and its Code of Practice."
