DST Systems, a provider of information processing and computer software products, has introduced Electronic File Solution (EFS), a suite of hosted software services designed to help companies manage the storage, retrieval, and retention of critical business records.
The new EFS is a hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) offering that benefits companies in many industries, by enabling organisations to securely manage document storage, retrieval and retention policies of any corporate records.
The EFS suite of software and services offers: configurable, easy-to-use administrative dashboard to securely manage the storage, retrieval, retention and disposition of all records archived in EFS; secure, 24X7 web access; and integration with document management systems.
In addition, the new offering provides consolidation of documents from legacy systems; complete paper-to-digital conversion and classification services; support for litigation holds and eDiscovery; and customisable index identifiers to meet individual business requirements
DST Systems vice president Elizabeth DeZeeuw said today’s regulatory environment, evolving industry standards and the shear growth in records quantity are making electronic storage more attractive.
