Former IPsoft CEO will be responsible for directing overall CenturyLink business in EMEA.
CenturyLink has appointed former IPsoft CEO Richard Warley as managing director for its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operations.
Warley will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening client relationships, developing sales strategy and directing overall CenturyLink business in the EMEA region.
Prior to joining as the CEO of IPsoft, Warley served as the CEO of Tokyo based cloud, network and IT service provider KVH.
Warley also worked in senior roles in Savvis, a managed hosting and colocation service provider between 2000 and 2008.
Warley said: "I believe CenturyLink has the most ambitious vision and the most comprehensive set of capabilities of any global hybrid cloud provider.
"Our portfolio includes a global fiber network and data centre footprint, managed services capabilities and a public cloud that rivals any other in the market, all delivered through a single point of contact.
"The breadth of services offered is a market-winning combination for current and future CenturyLink customers."
According to CenturyLink senior vice president James Parker, Warley is perfectly placed to leverage the company’s expertise in network, cloud, colocation and managed services and he is expected to help CenturyLink become partner to companies that are looking to succeed in world of hybrid IT.
