Advanced Recovery Continuity Appliance claims to offer affordable backup and restore options
Zenith Infotech, a provider of backup and disaster recovery and remote monitoring and management services, has announced the availability of a network-attached storage device, ARCA, for windows servers preloaded with backup, recovery and virtualisation software.
ARCA is available in four models and claims to provide an affordable business continuity system for companies looking to deploy a stand-alone system which can be maintained and monitored independently.
According to Zenith Infotech, technology solution providers can virtualise failed servers remotely through its ARCA to ARCA replication feature. The appliance is also expected to store 48 hours of backups at 15-minute intervals, 14 daily backups, 5 weekly backups and 30 day backups.
The features of ARCA include, block-level transfer,15-minute incremental snapshots, total windows server backup, exchange granular recovery, instant standby server virtualisation, bare metal restore, industry standard encryption, multiple replication schemes and integrated management and reporting.
Akash Saraf, CEO of Zenith Infotech, said: ARCA is a perfect complement to any organisation’s existing tape backups because of its ability to provide near-term, near-line recovery from a single file, database or mail message, up to a full production server, in minutes.
