PS4 will be on sale from 15 November 2013 in North America and 29 November in Europe.
Sony has had reportedly received more than one million pre-orders globally for its latest PlayStation 4 (PS4) gaming console.
According to the Sony Computer Entertainment chief executive Andrew House said that the console will be on sale from 15 November in North America and with European sales to start from 29 November 2013.
"The response we have received is nothing short of incredible," House said.
To be offered in 32 countries globally during the holiday season, the latest version of Play Station version in seven years incorporates a Blue-Ray drive for games and films, USB and Ethernet ports and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections.
PS4 is powered by AMD’s x86-based central processing unit and also features an enhanced version of PC graphics processing unit that facilitates using the GPU for general purpose computing such as physics simulation.
The console will also enable gamers to allow one of their friends to connect to their machine and gain control of their character to help while playing games or enable viewing live progress as audience.
Last week, reports claimed that several UK retailers have stopped taking pre-orders for the console over fears of a shortage supply.
