Apple has revealed that it expects to miss its initial revenue projections for Q3 by around 10%. The fall in revenues is expected to have an effect on Apple’s profits for the quarter ended June 30. Apple had predicted that sales for Q3 would be $1.6 billion. It is now expected that sales will only reach a level of between $1.4 and $1.45 billion.
The company is blaming poor sales in Japan and Europe, as well as weak demand in the consumer, advertising and publishing markets for the company’s drop in revenues.
