Haruno has 20 years of global sales experience in the communications industry
BT has appointed Haruno Yoshida as president of its operations in Japan, who will drive the strategy and execution of all of BT’s business operations in the country.
Prior to joining BT, Haruno was general manager at Verizon Business, where she was the head of its enterprise sales.
Haruno has 20 years of sales experience in the communications industry around the world. At this time, she developed commercial successes with multinational enterprise customers, both in Japan and around the world.
Haruno began her career with Motorola in Japan and then she moved on to a telecommunications company in Canada. From 2000 to 2008, she held a variety of roles at NTT in Japan and in the United States.
She is also seen as a role model for the advancement of women in business in Japan.
BT Asia Pacific president Kevin Taylor said Haruno’s accomplishments and global credentials make her one of the best leaders in the industry.
