IT management software and applications company CA Technologies has introduced a new self-service application, Xtraction for CA Service Management, which will enable non-technical users to create and design interactive IT performance dashboards and reports.
Xtraction for CA Service Management is a browser-based application with an interface for building charts, graphs, pivot tables and other graphical reporting elements using simple point-and-click tools.
CA’s self-service application will enable users gain real-time insight into all key aspects of IT services, including demand, cost, use, performance, problems and problem resolution.
The company said the real-time insight into IT services will allow the users to engage in fact-based collaboration with IT and to helps them to optimally align IT investments with genuine business requirements.
It also allow users to aggregate data from multiple sources, drill-down for improved detail and auto-refresh real-time data. Reports can also be exported to PDF, Microsoft PowerPoint and other formats.
The release of Xtraction for CA Service Management follows the introduction of several other applications, including CA Open Space and xMatters for CA Service Desk Manager, that also facilitate self-service for business and improved collaboration between the business and IT.
Xtraction for CA Service Management uses technology from Xtraction Solutions, a CA Technologies Select Technology Partner.
