DRAM, flash memory, USB drives and SSD Drives manufacturer Centon Electronics has integrated backup and hard disk management software developer, Paragon Software’s Migrate OS to SSD software in its SSD Notebook kits packaged with their solid state drives (SSDs).
The software provides easy migration of system data including the operating system, data files and applications to Centon’s SSDs.
Paragon Migrate OS to SSD 2.0 simplifies the migration of a software environment to another storage device process by providing a wizard-driven interface.
It also reduces the source system volume, if needed, auto-aligns the copied system partition;and provides intelligent selection of specific files and folders for migration, all without rebooting the system.
Paragon Migrate OS to SSD includes an upgraded file exclusion technology increases migration speed, wizard-driven graphical interface, Microsoft Reserved Partition awareness and file exclusion/selection capability.
It also features an automatic partition resize capability to prevent common issues when migrating system data from an HDD to a smaller SSD and an automatic partition alignment awareness to prevent redundant read/write operations.
The software provides a hot copy, without system restart and also enables smooth migration process regardless of the operating system.
