IT services vendor CSC has insisted that it will not attempt to acquire troubled healthcare software developer iSoft.
Back in June, CSC revealed that it had considered moving for iSoft. Since then, iSoft has agreed to be acquired by Germany’s CompuGroup in a deal valued at 160m pounds ($317m). CSC consented to the deal after CompuGroup agreed to sell it the rights to use and develop iSoft’s Lorenzo software, a key component of CSC’s work on the UK National Health Services’ IT upgrade project.
CSC said that its plans for iSoft could change if the CompuGroup takeover fell through or a third party came in with an offer.
