Application and desktop performance enhancements while enabling the user to deploy, maintain, and monitor environments
DirectPointe, a provider of managed IT services, has developed a scalable platform-as-a-service monitoring offering, where it provides Quest Software with application infrastructure and desktop performance management and optimisation as part of alliance programme.
DirectPointe said it is leveraging Quest’s enterprise-level management and monitoring tools for the SMB and MSP markets by integrating offerings with Wendia’s Point of Business (POB) Service Desk management (SDM) and ticketing system to monitor networks, servers, PCs, and applications.
The new platform is expected to increase application and desktop performance while enabling the user to deploy, maintain, and monitor environments.
DirectPointe vice president of marketing Dan Atkinson said the new monitoring platform provides visibility into the user’s IT environment and eliminates the problem associated with implementing and supporting an enterprise-class monitoring offering.
Quest Software vice president of worldwide channels and alliances Michael Sotnick said their alliance provides service enables users to no longer have to question the health and performance of their application and desktop environments.
