Leading games publisher Electronic Arts has announced that former Amazon.com CFO Warren Jenson will take over the CFO role at the company. Warren Jenson left Amazon in March after three years as CFO. Jenson replaces Stan McKee who plans to retire after 13 years with EA. McKee will remain with the company to assist Jenson through the transitional period.
In other news, analyst’s changed their estimates of EA’s financial performance, after stronger than expected sales of games such as FIFA World Cup and Medal of Honor. Experts now expect the company to generate revenues of $300 million for the current quarter and revenues of $2.13 billion for the full financial year.
