IT services provider Electronic Data Processing Plc has announced a profit for the 12 months to the end of September 2003, following a reduction in operating costs and a tax refund.
The UK-based company, which specializes in providing services to the building companies, reported a net profit of GBP397, 000 ($680,000) compared to a net loss of GBP1.8 million ($3.1 million) in 2002.
Sales increased 2.4% to GBP8.7 million ($14.9 million). The company claimed that the new fiscal year has begun well despite activity levels in the sector remaining subdued.
