Its Smart Revenue Solutions would help energy retailers to meet the billing, customer care needs, says Convergys
The IT function of E.ON, E.ON IT has signed a new framework agreement with the relationship management firm Convergys to leverage the full portfolio of Convergys offerings within its E.ON i to improve customer experiences.
Convergys’ Smart Revenue Solutions help energy retailers and other companies to meet the billing and customer care needs for the residential, commercial and industrial, and wholesale sectors, enabling them to solve the business needs.
Prior to this, Convergys had worked with three E.ON affiliates in a variety of markets to conduct a series of pilots to test Convergys’ capability to deliver rating and billing functionality related, but not limited to, Smart Metering.
E.ON AG chief information officer and E.ON IT GmbH Management Board chairman Edgar Aschenbrenner said E.ON IT looks forward to broadening the relationship with Convergys, so it can replicate the success of the pilots on a group-wide scale.
"We are excited about the future possibilities and services that we are able to deliver to our customers with the support of Convergys’ intelligent solutions," said Aschenbrenner.
Convergys Smart Revenue Solutions Global Utilities general manager Eran Ofir said Convergys’ offerings will help E.ON IT to make the most of the company’s current back office infrastructure investment by expanding their system capabilities to solve business needs brought on by changing business conditions, including Smart Metering and growing customer requirements.
