NexTone, a provider of scalable session management solutions, has announced that Express Teleservice, a wholesale voice carrier, has deployed its Session Border Controller to extend its voice network to carrier partners around the world.
With NexTone’s Session Border Controller (SBC) working as the core element of Express Teleservice’s voice network, the company can now provide enhanced SIP support and scalability to all international carrier partners.
By integrating NexTone’s SBC with an OSS solution from Telejet, a software provider for inter-carrier billing, routing, and rate management, Express Teleservice can utilize NexTone’s features to achieve a higher-level quality of service, more granular routing capabilities and capacity control.
Michael Didiock, CEO of Express Teleservice, said: NexTone’s SBC provides a reliable switching platform, a high call rate capacity, and quality scalability options. We believe NexTone’s product will help us gain valuable market share by allowing us to seamlessly accommodate the growing scale of our wholesale voice business.
