Geong International, a provider of enterprise content management software and solutions, has reported turnover of $5.88 million for the first half of 2007, an increase of 87% compared to $3.15 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Gross profit for the first six months ended September 30, 2007, stood at $2.34 million, an increase of 51% compared to $1.55 million in the corresponding period of the previous year. Net profit for the period was $0.51 million, a 107% rise against $0.25 million in the corresponding period of the prior year.
Earnings per share stood at 1.7 cents, up 70% compared to 1 cent in the corresponding period of the prior year.
Wang Weidong, chief executive of Geong International, said: Having put in place and executed our detailed strategies for growth, we have managed to deliver interim results that are better than originally planned.
