Global Med Technologies has announced that its Wyndgate Technologies division has licensed its SafeTrace software to the Cardiovascular Center of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean to manage its transfusion service. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
SafeTrace is a software designed to improve the standard of care for patients, improve safety, reduce waste and increase efficiency in the blood transfusion continuum. Cardiovascular Center of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean (CCPRC) has selected the SafeTrace system to interface with their Keane laboratory information system to enhance patient care.
