McKesson, a provider of a IT and healthcare services, has announced that Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, California, has selected its radiology and cardiovascular solutions: the Horizon Medical Imaging picture archiving and communication system and Horizon Cardiology cardiovascular image and information management solution.
By implementing traditionally department-centric systems with an enterprise-wide approach, Good Samaritan Hospital expects to improve clinician workflow within both departments, improve continuity of care across settings, and create a technology platform to save costs and enable future growth.
