The business page owners can monitor the number of people clicking their pages, says Google
Google’s new social networking service Google+ has started allowing businesses to create their special web pages free of cost on its site.
Google said the Google+ Pages facility will help businesses and brands to better communicate with their customers, to reach new customers, and to build relationships with customers through special campaigns.
This move by Google is also aimed at attracting visitors to spend more time on its site, further competing with social media giant Facebook.
Google’s Web search engine and Google+ social networking service will allow access to the new business web pages.
To go to specific business pages, users have to type the plus symbol before a business name.
The new service will also allow the business page owners to monitor the number of people clicking their site and their places of origin.
Organisations can use the new platform’s Hangouts service to set up video chats to connect with up to nine other users.
The search giant further said that they will not put any adverts on the business pages created by the companies.
