Hutchinson 3G has signed a deal with NCorp that will enable the operator to offer truly personalised 3G content and services. UK-based NCorp will provide its Ijen technology that will allow Hutchinson to build dynamic profiles of the needs and preferences of its individual users.
The mobile operator will exploit the user profiles to personalize the services and content it offers subscribers. Hutchinson will be able to provide individual users with highly relevant, location specific content. This could come from a range of structured information sources including shopping and travel.
Hutchinson owns many of the world’s largest 3G mobile licenses. Its deal with NCorp will develop its European and Asian 3G services.
