IBM Corp and Cisco Systems Inc have expanded their product support partnership to new markets outside of the US, the companies announced.
The companies have been collaborating on their support services in the US for three years, IBM said. Now joint support will be available to 46 additional countries.
Support for Cisco products will now include IBM customer call support and resolution for Cisco networking devices. IBM’s network support staff will be trained by Cisco. And Cisco will provide services for some of its own upper-level technical support, operating system upgrades, hardware replacement, and other network tools.
