Information Builders, a provider of business intelligence offerings, has introduced its WebFOCUS toGo series of mobile offerings at the 2011 Summit User Conference — the free Mobile Faves application for iPad and iPhone.
The Mobile Faves for iPad and iPhone provides workers and executives a native way to view, save, catalogue, search, e-mail, and subscribe to pushed BI documents including Information Builders’ Active Technology documents, said the company.
The new enhancements to the WebFOCUS Active Technologies provide a device-specific user experience on mobile devices, including mobile menus, controls, gestures, and interactive charting.
In addition, using Active Technologies documents with Mobile Faves for iPad and iPhone results in a seamless combination of native device and mobile web capabilities, the company said.
The Active Technology documents also allow users to manipulate and analyse business information on a mobile device whether they are online or disconnected from a network.
The Mobile Faves app provides special features to allow customers to access their existing or legacy WebFOCUS BI content on Apple devices with no changes, the company said.
