Intelli-Check, a provider of verification technology, has announced that it has received a significant new order for its ID-Check technology equipment from a major grocery chain based in the northeast part of the US to enhance its loyalty card enrollment process as well as future promotional events, like new store openings.
Intelli-Check’s complete ID-Check system, include hardware and software. The installed system will initially be used to scan customer IDs, primarily driver licenses, to enroll patrons into the grocer’s ‘Shoppers Club’ electronic discount program, which is used as an alternative to coupon-clipping. This system will enhance and assist the grocer’s customer service department by using Intelli-Check’s solution as a productivity tool to expeditiously capture data input as well as securing accurate data entry.
Lou Gryga, senior vice president of marketing, sales and operations at Intelli-Check, said: This new order is a strong win for Intelli-Check on several fronts. First, it involves a loyalty card program at a major supermarket chain which is renowned for offering a high quality shopping experience to its customers as well as being a trendsetter within its industry. Second, we were able to design the economics of this order as a subscription-based model, which will give us a recurring revenue stream. We are pleased to see acceptance of the value Intelli-Check has to offer and we believe that our dedicated sales force will find many additional opportunities amongst companies that are seeking a system that can both improve productivity and reduce fraud.
